Emergency call system for accidents and disasters
Developed on the basis of the requirements of the Commission of the European Union (EU) No. 305/2013 of 26 November 2012 amending Directive 2010/40/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council on the harmonisation and interoperability of emergency call services in Europe (pan-European eCall system) and TR CU 018/2011 “On the safety of wheeled vehicles”

What is eCall?
An automated information system for emergency calls in case of accidents and disasters, providing for the calling of emergency services in cases of road traffic and other accidents on motorways.
The system operates using signals and data from GPS and GLONASS navigation satellite systems.
In case of an emergency (fire, sudden illness, attack), the driver or passenger has the opportunity to use the panic button
Call the emergency service. The system will ensure maximum speed of emergency response.
The purpose of creating the eCall system
►Reducing the time it takes to inform emergency services about a traffic accident or other emergency situation.
►Determines the exact coordinates of the vehicle, which allows emergency assistance to be provided during the “golden hour”.
►Emergency assistance arrival time to the emergency scene using eCall is reduced by 50%.
