      Developed on the basis of the requirements of the Commission of the European Union (EU) No. 305\/2013 of 26 November 2012 amending Directive 2010\/40\/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council on the harmonisation and interoperability of emergency call services in Europe (pan-European eCall system) and TR CU 018\/2011 “On the safety of wheeled vehicles”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      What is eCall?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      An automated information system for emergency calls in case of accidents and disasters, providing for the calling of emergency services in cases of road traffic and other accidents on motorways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The system operates using signals and data from GPS and GLONASS navigation satellite systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      In case of an emergency (fire, sudden illness, attack), the driver or passenger has the opportunity to use the panic button<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Call the emergency service. The system will ensure maximum speed of emergency response.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The purpose of creating the eCall system<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      \u25baReducing the time it takes to inform emergency services about a traffic accident or other emergency situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \u25baDetermines the exact coordinates of the vehicle, which allows emergency assistance to be provided during the \u201cgolden hour\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
